The name Glocalgaz™ emerged when two colleagues were making a puzzle. The name is actually a merge of "global" and "local". Not wanting to give the product a global status and at the same time refuting its local identity. A merge occurred leading to "glocal". This stands for Global product for Local use.
Kosan Crisplant Cameroon officially opened its doors on 19 January 2006 in the resort town of Limbe.
Glocalgaz™ later spread to other parts of the South West, Littoral, North West, Centre and Western regions.
The colour yellow and the logo brand have been something to talk about. Cameroonians were later amazed of the flexibility of the Quick-On Regulator. This has given a sign of relief to women and young adults in manipulating a cylinder and regulator.
