Market Oriented Activities
- Content: The quantity of LPG was increased in the 12.5 kg cylinders from 12.0 kg to 12.5 kg. This did not only increase the margin for Glocalgaz™, but it solved the problem of non-respect of the sales price by distributors and retailers.
- Promotional Activity: Highly successful Banded pack (burner plus cylinder) offer on 6 kg cylinders. A total of 800 cylinders sold in three weeks for an activity that was initially planned for eight weeks.
- Distributors Meeting: An exciting Distributors Meeting - Meritorious distributors rewarded following an evaluation of sales against target for January to June 2009.
Sales Force Capability Building
- Training session at the head office on quick books for sales assistants and sales and marketing assistants.
